
Your personal chef Sjoerd de Nooijer started his passion for food in 2001, when he still was an apprentice at the culinary school in Amsterdam.
He worked in many kitchens with Holland's great chefs mastering the Italian, French and International cuisine.
In 2007 Sjoerd started a culinary trip to Australia, where he mastered his pastries and became pastry chef of a 5 star luxury resort on Green Island.
A year later he moved to South East Asia where he learned more about the Asian cuisine with its fine products and spicy flavours.
In 2009 Sjoerd cooked on a cruise ship for Holland America seeing more of the world and experiencing the heat of the big galley kitchens cruising along the Caribbean.
Back on Dutch grounds Sjoerd got back into pastry and stepped into the world of molecular kitchen, chocolate and ice cream.

Using his whisk more often than his chef knife Sjoerd never lost his passion for cooking up great foods and in 2011 Dam Tasty Catering was born. He gives his own twist to classic combinations and created some himself as well. Being a mentor he now shares his passion and knowledge in his workshops and creates tailor made dinners for you and your friends.
